Fundraisers

Below is information about our upcoming fundraisers for this session. The BWC is a non-profit organization that relies on fundraisers in addition to singer and concert fees in order to meet our budget needs. We try and keep our fundraisers fun, unique and effective while building community in the process.

Spring Party & Silent Auction – BWC-style

Thursday, May 15
6 – 9 pm at All Souls Church

The BWC hosts a very special party at the end of each session. The party includes a potluck, singing games and our very unique silent auction featuring donations by you!

This is a wonderful opportunity for all members past and present to support the Chorus financially by donating an item to be auctioned and/or coming to the party to bid on all the items you want to take home. Items are as unique as our Chorus members as they are homemade or reflect something singers have/do to offer.

What can you donate?
Consider something handmade like jewelry, pottery, socks, floral arrangements to name a few. A gift certificate for a yummy baked good or a service you offer (massage, coching, etc) always makes a great donation. Items ranging in bids from $5 to $100 are ideal.

More info to come at rehearsals! Read all about auction donations here!

Trivia Night!

Wednesday, March 19 from 6-9 pm at the Elks Lodge

Join the fun at Trivia Night hosted by Brattleboro Sunrise Rotary, where the BWC is this month’s charity partner. You do NOT need to know much trivia to have a great time.

Arrive by 6 pm. Pay $20 (cash only) at the door which includes a simple dinner, a donation to the BWC and a super fun night! You can bring a table of up to 8 people for a team of your own, or join a team (table) there! There is also a cash bar and a 50/50 raffle. All proceeds of the evening go to the Chorus, so the more people who show, the more money we make!

Trivia Night happens every month at the Elks Lodge, 75 Putney Road in Brattleboro. Arrive by 6 pm, find a table and get settled. Dinner at 6:30 followed by the games! The evening should wrap up by 8:45/9 pm. It’s a blast!
